The latest issue of the NIEHOFF Magazine, the customer journal of the Niehoff Group, is available now. The main article entitled "Where is growth?" focuses on the global cable industry and its outlook based on findings discussed at the CRU Wire and Cable Conference 2016 in June.

The growth rate of the cable sector is higher than the the global GDP growth rate. Promising market possibilities are given in China and India as shown by market reports on both countries where the two major trade fairs for the wire and cable industry in the second half of 2016 are taking place. NIEHOFF, its local subsidiaries Niehoff Machinery Changzhou and Niehoff of India, and partner companies will present the following exhibits:

  • wire China 2016, booth W1F63: an MMH 121 + RM 201 type multiwire drawing line made in Germany and a D 631.5 + ARP 630 type high-speed double twist bunching machine made by NMC.
  • Wire & Cable India 2016, booth E 02: a 16 wire multiwire drawing line type MMH 121 + RM 201 made by NoI and a stranding machine type DSI 631 for data cables with backtwist pay-off type ARD 630 D.

Besides cutting-edge technology, the comprehensive customer service NIEHOFF Original+ is one of Niehoff's key success factors. It includes among others the reliable and fast supply of OEM spare and wear parts and the on-site service for technical assistance. One article also describes the NIEHOFF Online Service and the NIEHOFF Data Interface (NDI), and introduces the new spare parts management system. The following article shows interesting details of another sector of NIEHOFF Original+: the modernization of Niehoff machinery.

In this NIEHOFF Magazine issue, two cable manufacturing companies which rely on Niehoff technology are introduced: Shanghai Qifan Electric Wire & Cable Co., Ltd., China, and Havells India’s Wire & Cable Division. In an interview, Ing. Karl Fröschl, the longtime technical manager of the Gebauer & Griller Kabelwerke (cable works), Austria, talks about experiences and insights which he gained in 43 years with the company and the wire and cable industry.

Biannually the NIEHOFF Magazine informs about company news and developments, trade shows and events and other interesting topics. The magazine, published in English and German with summaries in Chinese and Russian, is available at the Niehoff website (http://www.niehoff-gmbh.info/de/up-to-date/niehoff-magazines) or from any Niehoff office worldwide.
